|Huawei launched its P40 series on 26th March, 2020 which include Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus. The phone is available in only one variant that is 8GB RAM and 128GB in-built storage. The handset will compete with Samsung Galaxy S20 5G and Apple iPhone 11. As per the colours it include Ice White, Silver Frost, Black, Blush Gold and Deep Sea Blue. The company set the price for Huawei P40 5G is €799.|
Display and Design
The phone comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with rounded edges and dual punch hole selfie camera. The resolution of the display is 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone also has an IP53 rating which means its dust and splash proof. Huawei P40 5G form factor is slate and frame is constructed with anodized aluminum.
Processor and Storage
The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G chipset which is built on 7nm+ architecture with Mali G76 as a GPU. The device packs with 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 256GB by external memory support (NM SD Card). The phone runs on Android 10 which is based on EMUI 10.1
The smartphone on its rear packs a 50MP primary camera, 16MP ultrawide secondary camera and third is 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. On the front, phone has a Dual 32MP + IR selfie camera.

The battery capacity of Huawei P40 5G is 3700 mAh and its non-removable Li-Po battery. The phone also support 22.5W SuperCharge (fast charging).
